More safety for alpine ski racing: From the 2025/26 season, certified cut-resistant pants are mandatory for athletes in all competitive categories. Energiapura has played a key role in this development for many years and is now one of the leading specialists in cut-resistant protective garments for ski racing. To complete the underwear set, a cut-resistant shirt is also available.
These innovative cut-resistant protection products are designed to help protect athletes from possible injuries caused by sharp ski edges in the event of a fall. Energiapura combines high safety standards with excellent comfort: the fabric is soft, elastic, and comfortable to wear, making it suitable as a replacement for traditional ski underwear.
A major advantage is the patented Energiapura technology, which allows easier seam opening in case of urgent medical intervention, without compromising the garment’s protection during normal use. The products are FIS compliant, PPE certified, and tested according to EN 388:2016 Cut Resistant Level 3 – built for maximum safety in training and competition.

ICE KEY
The ICE-KEY chip integrated into Energiapura cut-resistant garments allows skiers to store important medical data, personal information, emergency contacts, and digital copies of documents.
In an emergency, rescuers simply hold a smartphone near the chip area – no dedicated app required. This gives fast access to health data, contact numbers, and personal details. The system can also send an emergency SMS with GPS location directly to predefined contacts.
Stored information is displayed automatically in the local language of the country where the ICE-KEY chip is scanned – available in 7 languages.
